Pella Omaha is proud to be a Silver Partner for this year’s Street of Dreams, and three of the eight luxury homes in the showcase–—by builders John Caniglia Homes, Thomas David Fine Homes and Jordan Michael Signature Homes—feature Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha & Lincoln.
The 2015 Street of Dreams begins Saturday, August 8, and runs through Sunday, August 23. The public is invited to tour eight beautiful, fully finished homes in the Windgate Ranch neighborhood (a Tom Falcone development) near 208th and Pacific Streets in Elkhorn. Street of Dreams homes are open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from noon to 8 p.m. from Friday to Sunday. Tickets can be purchased from local Hy-Vee stores for $10 or onsite for $12, with children 4 and under admitted free.
The eight homes presented in the showcase represent a $650,000-$850,000 range. Street of Dreams homes are built, decorated and landscaped by Metro Omaha Builders Association (MOBA) members and will boast some of the latest elements featured in the 2015 International Builders Show like state-of-the-art sound systems, spa-like bathrooms, chef kitchens, sunken theater rooms, cutting-edge interior design, custom furniture, organic Noni Oak wood flooring, custom interior cable railing design, outdoor entertaining areas and more.
MOBA has presented Street of Dreams for more than 30 years, and the organization itself originated in 1946 with the objective to promote and protect the homebuilding industry. The eight local builders represented this year are Castle Brook Builders, Falcone Homes, John Caniglia Homes & The Caniglia Team -NP Dodge, Landmark Performance Homes, Ideal Designs Custom Homes Inc., Thomas David Fine Homes, Jordan Michael Signature Homes, and Concept Homes & Design.
Street of Dreams attendees can register to win a landscaped natural gas fire pit from Patera Landscaping. Other special activities include Realtor Day on Wednesday, August 12 (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.), which includes lunch and is open to all metro-area realtors who present a business card to enter. Thursday, August 13 is Meet the Builder/Designer day, where the public can talk with or ask questions of the participating Street of Dreams builders and interior designers.
Attendees are invited to cast a vote for the Best Overall Home award any time during the event.
Builders will also be recognized for their outstanding work in seven other categories based on a community leader and local celebrity panel’s top picks for master suite, kitchen, entertaining area, floorplan, interior design, and landscaping.
