I bought Pella Windows & Doors of Omaha & Lincoln in 2005 and helped guide the company through the downturn in the housing market in 2006 by focusing on leadership development, process improvement and customer service.

In addition to Pella Omaha, I have also been involved in several other Pella Branch ownership transitions and have assisted new owners with leadership and financial support. I also serve on the Pella Corporate Advisory Board.

Prior to Pella, I spent 23 years in public accounting with 14 of those as a partner with the Lutz and Company, P.C. and in that time participated in rapid growth from roughly 20 professionals to over 100. During my tenure at Lutz I was an audit partner and provided consulting services on strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, business management, and risk management.

I also served and continue to serve on advisory boards of privately held middle market companies.

I have served on many non-profit boards including: CUES (Christian Urban Education Service) Board Member, Creighton Prep Past Governing Board Chair Executive Committee Board Member, Catholic Charities, Past Treasurer and Board Member; St. Wenceslaus, Past Finance Committee Member; Skutt Catholic High School, Past Board Member.

I have been married to my wife for 40 years and together we have four children and seven grandchildren.
