Project Story

Here’s an inside look at a transformative project in Omaha’s Blackstone District: the 235,000-square-foot Blackstone Plaza building, which has been reimagined with the help of Pella of Omaha! This impressive property now offers Class A office spaces starting at 1,400 square feet, with 850 brand-new Pella Impervia windows that bring in even more light and incredible views of the city. Along with 2,500-5,000 square feet of street-level retail and spacious outdoor pavilion areas, Blackstone Plaza is a fantastic option for businesses looking to move into a modernized 2021 reconstruction, complete with efficient, column-free spaces and move-in-ready spec suites.

Our Pella Expert Install Team, led by Jurgens JCC, used a subframe installation method for the fixed Impervia windows, which allowed the entire installation to be done from the interior of the building. This approach didn’t just save significant costs by eliminating the need for lifts, it also created a safer, more efficient work environment for our installers. Plus, if any of these windows need to be replaced down the road, the cost for owners will be reduced since everything can still be completed from inside.
